Fee Inclusions

Full Conference Registration: includes all conference sessions, morning and afternoon teas, lunches during the conference and one ticket to the Conference Welcome Function and Multilingual Matters Evening Reception.

One Day Registration: includes all conference sessions for that day, morning and afternoon tea and lunch. It does NOT include entry to social events. Tickets to these events can be purchased separately on registration.

*Student Registration: Available to full time students only. Please note: there are limited Student passes available. A scan of your Student ID will be required to process your registration. Student registration includes all conference sessions, morning and afternoon teas, lunches during the conference and one ticket to the Conference Welcome Function and Multilingual Matters Evening Reception.

Special Deal for New Zealand Early Childhood, Primary, Intermediate and Secondary School Teachers

We encourage teachers to participate in the conference and are pleased to offer the following special deals to assist attendance:

  1. Share your full registration. This means that up to two named delegates from one school can use the same conference registration as long as only one person attends at a time. Shared registration is very cost effective if you can plan your LED 2015 attendance as a team. The Ultra Early Bird rate of $595 is available right up to the conference.
  2. Group registration allows 4 teachers to attend for the price of 3 registrations. Applies to full registration only.

This offer is open only to New Zealand teachers – registration will require either an email address ending in .school.nz or evidence of affiliation to a New Zealand registered school or early childhood centre.

Teacher registration includes all conference sessions, morning and afternoon teas, lunches during the conference and one ticket to the Conference Welcome Function and Multilingual Matters Evening Reception.

One ticket to the Multilingual Matters Evening Reception is included in the full conference registration fee. Additional tickets can be purchased by one-day delegates, friends, family members or colleagues for NZ$50.00.

Conference Dinner

Venue: Princes Ballroom C, Pullman Hotel, Corner Princes Street and Waterloo Quadrant
Date: Wednesday 25 November 2015
Time: 6:30pm – 10:30pm

Join in the celebrations of the LED 2015 Conference Dinner at the Pullman Hotel, in the heart of Auckland City. Be entertained by Motor City Family Funk a nine-piece Motown top-shelf band with an uncompromising policy of sharp suits and sharp tunes.

The band draws material predominantly from the golden days of the Motown record label. Motor City Family Funk set out in 2006 to do justice to these fantastic arrangements as only a band of its size could.

The conference dinner includes pre-dinner drinks, a buffet meal and entertainment and a limited bar tab. A cash bar will also be available.

Pre Conference Workshops

A number of pre-conference workshops are being held on Monday 23 November. Entry is by ticket only and full details about each workshop and fees can be found here.

Delegate Registration Cancellation Policy

All registration cancellations are subject to a $100.00 +GST administration fee. If payment has not been made, the administration fee will be charged. If payment has been made, a refund of the balance will be given provided written notification is received prior to 5 pm, Friday 16 October 2015. After this date refunds will only be made at the discretion of the organising committee. Substitutions will be accepted, but should be notified in writing to the conference organisers, Paardekooper and Associates.
